2 August 2019 Entering the ice

We entered the ice in the early hours of August 2nd in the vicinity of 82 06'N, 58 34'E. We had 8/10 ice, almost all first year with a thickness of 60-70cm. The floes had 2/10 melt. Some floes were just 40cm thick -- these had 4/10 melt, all ponds linked and with a significant amount of rotten ice.
